Save a Place For Me, Matthew West
To whom it may concern,
Every Christmas I look forward to attending the Annual Christmas Concert with Mormon Tabernacle Choir and their invited guest. In years passed I have been entertained, and mesmerized by The Kings Singers, Sissel, Renee Flemming, Claire Bloom, Audra McDonald, Peter Graves, Frederica Von Stade, Bryn Terfel, and the unforgettable Angela Lansbury.
I understand that it is important who you invite because they need to appeal to a mass audience, have outstanding positive character, able to fit within your monetary budget, as well as being able to blend with the Choir. But I think it is time someone with youth and energy comes into town to perform.
Some suggestions for this talent, that I can provide, are:
Christina Aguilera: Amazing voice, who has shown that an artist need not be tied down to one Genre. With working and producing Pop, Jazz, Urban, retro, and electronic music, she has shown that she capable of working with the best in the business.
Alicia Keys: A soulful voice with piano talent an R&B artist would die for!
Neyo: Talented arranger and singer who has written for Mary J Blige, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Celine Dion, and Leona Lewis. He brings in a male voice, one that the concerts have not featured for some time now.
Beyonce Knowles: An artist that has risen to the top on every album she has ever been involved in. With such hits as "Dangerously in Love," "Irreplaceable," and member of the platinum selling girl group, Destiny's Child.
Faith Hill: A name known around the world, because of her musical success, and solid marriage to Tim McGraw. She brings in a country style that would fit in with the Choir's tone. She is even releasing a Christmas album this fall, so arrangements would be easy and straight-forward.
I realize that you most likely have someone lined up for the Christmas season of 2008, but maybe you will be able to look into booking the talent for 2009.
Sincerely,
B.

I vote for Christina Aguilera... but they'll have to remind her to wear some clothes.
Uhhh... May I remind you that Britney Spears has a Christmas track?
