Single Me Out, Lisa Loeb
A poem:
Tonight a few of my single friends and I went out to eat pizza. I feel really sick, because this kind of pizza has a lot of cheese, and is really good but makes you feel sick.
The Smell of Hello Kitty Plastic makes me Sick.
Lisa Loeb loves Hello Kitty.
Lisa Loeb's music calms my soul. I think she is nerdy hott, and if I was closer to her age and jewish I would date her.
Stay, please sunshine and hot hot heat so a fun outside date can happen.
Sometimes being single is fun, but other times it is not.
Lisa Loeb had a reality show about dating filmed in New York.
If you go to Vegas remember to act single.
Fergie looks like a Tranny, Lisa Loeb is Fierce.
If you got to this point of the post, I am sorry.... My mind and emotions are gone.

I Want it That Way, Backstreet Boys
Gotta love a song from the Bubblegum Pop days! Today a wish has come true. It is officially the 2nd day of summer (we had another ultra nice day earlier this year)! I am loving it and have lived it up to the fullest. This morning I woke up early and took my dog for a walk, then studied outside, and now I am about to go to work! I am hoping I get back to being outside after but only time will tell.
I love the Sun!

Dance With Me, Drew Seeley
Lately I have had this buzz in my body and brain. Perhaps it is because I have not been clubbing or attending any dance parties. There is something amazing about dancing with friends while you listen to powerful speakers beeming the music to your soul. When I hear S.O.S. I go crazy, With Love I shake it, and Buttons makes me reminsce!
As of recently I have enjoyed Krumping and have considered taking a hip-hop class this fall. I really want to learn to isolate my body to pop and lock.
What is the song that gets you going or is fun to dance to when you are cleaning?
Video of the Week
So today I remembered to post a video, because Ashlee Simpson reminds of the person featured:

Quiet, John Mayer
Tonight is a super brief post because let's face it, Finals occupy a lot of time. Tonight I was blog surfing and visited this. I heard John Mayer's Quiet, and I really love it. Makes me want to sit in a summery hammock and watch clouds. I do not know a lot Mayer's songs but I know he is ultra talented and sings out of the side of his mouth.
John Mayer in July + Colbie = almost music heaven.

Bouncing Off the Walls, Sugarcult
I enjoy being with my friends. Especially when we get out of control, but we are all laughing so hard, we could care less. I had 3 of these moments. Enjoy these vignettes:
1) So I was at an Amanda Bynes Brithday Party, and after everyone had gone home, a friend started playing the drums (Suprisingly good!). As he played I decided to dance tribal like while the both us screamed Nelly Furtado songs at the top of our lungs.
2) Another gathering of friends, which involved a Lifetime movie about a demon child. At one moment the baby uses some power to guide the stroller out of the ladies hands and into the street. The mother then chases the stroller only to find that her baby had walked out of the stroller. Laughter was heard for miles.
3) Today at church a good friend leaned over to me during the worship service, and asked with tiger claws, "Do I look Fierce?!" Anyone that knows me, should know I have a passion for anything Tyra, and she uses this phrase a lot! I could not stop laughing which created massive gulps while the both us laugh... quietly... almost.

Makes Me Wanna Pray, Christina Aguilera
So last night I went to my favorite Christian Bookstore to look at their CDs, and to buy tickets with some friends for an upcoming concert at the Calvary Church. Before I went though, I was talking to someone, and they commented and asked why I wanted to go the bookstore and the concert? I have thought a lot about this:
For myself I have always hated the haters, especially when it comes to religion. On the "mish" I avoided chaotic talks with people about their views versus mine, as well as conversational bashing with companions. They accomplish nothing but waste time and place wedges in our lives. Alongside these conversations, I have received un-wanted "commentary" on some of my friends who are different from those commonly known in Utah, which makes me mad and sad. My beliefs are what they are, and really when it comes down to it religion is up to that particular person and their higher power, should they choose to accept that belief. My belief is that we are all here for a reason, and we need to find out what that is. In the process of doing so, it's important to love all those around us, even if they seem extreme, and with my Heavenly Father's love and will, anything is possible. I feel and I know so. Any questions?
Video of the Week
Okay so a little fill in:
Miley Cyrus has a best friend, in real life, named Mandy (age 21). They create videos together and film themselves doing everday stuff. Recently they were challenged to the first online dance battle by the choreographer of Step Up 2 the Streets. So the following is their entry, and I must say they are pretty good especially towards the end when Channing Tatum Steps In... i mean... Up!
The real action begins one minute into it!

Wait, Wait, Wait, The Format
I have serious issues when it comes to contests. This revelation came today as I was trying to win the Jason Mraz getaway to Hawaii. In order to win you had to guess the two correct seats and row on an airplane. Well the contest went on longer than they expected, and so last night they emailed out the correct seats and said the first time to try and win would be at 6 AM. So this morning at 5:50 AM I woke up hoping to win. I then waited, listened, practiced dialing on two phones, then waited some more, and a little longer...
7:11 AM rolls around and I was caller number 4 & 5, but someone else was caller ten. Then thankfully the person who was ten got the question incorrect. About an hour later I played again and was number nine. I was crushed.
My problem is this; I expect to win, and picture what I would do if I win. For example, if I won today's trip I planned who I would take, what we would see, how long we would sit on the beach, and how much Instigating we would do with the locals.
Maybe this is my last contest, after a dance contest or two. After all its been almost 17 years since I won my first contest on the Imagination Station!

Mansford Roof, Vampire Weekend
In the summer I used to go up on my roof and stop and stare at the beautiful world around me. I could see the whole valley. Often times I would take my tape player and listen to the Aladdin Soundtrack and pretend I was him. This year I have decided to continue this tradition minus listening to Aladdin, I think I have better music this year.
Also last summer we re-did our roof, so now it is safer, and shingles do not slide out from under your feet!

MFEO, Jacks Mannequinn
Yesterday I was clueless. I did not know what MFEO means, and apparently two of the oddest people I have ever met are "Made for eachother." I will let someone else blog about them, that is if they ever get up on the horse, known as blog, and write!
In other news I am excited for Mariah's new album in stores tomorrow. She has a good voice, crazy personality, and catchy beats. Mariah along with Butterflies, rainbows, and craziness are all MFEO!

See You Again, Miley Cyrus
This weekend was a really fun one that left me tonight wondering where did it go? I went to a concert this past weekend that ended up in people singing Miley's song, even if they don't like her or know the words.
Also I attended a work party as well, and it was filled with ice cream, laughter, and a greater relationship with my co-workers. At the party I glanced out the window to see two 10-year-old skating and filming their skateboarding movie. It made me laugh and reminsce about my youth. A friend and I used to make music videos, documentaries, dance contest videos, and science project movies that were really lame but we thought they were super cool.
Saturday also brought a seminar on getting into the entertainment industry. Out of most of the people there, I feel I am the most ready to break into it! This was a blessing in disguise because lately I have been feeling the opposite.
Also I had the "pop revelation" that Miley Cyrus is getting a little annoying, and she is too much in the media spotlight. I send my thanks to a friend for helping with this!

Whisper, A Fine Frenzy
Some people have a serious problem with whispering. Sometimes they are talking in a quiet voice, but people around the whisperer can still hear. Other times when something is super funny and you lean to the person next to you to tell you what happened, you can't whisper because you end up chuckling the entire time.
I have an undecided opinion on the horse whisperer as well as the dog whisperer. I think that the animals sense the quiet verbal communication, and the subtle and still non-verbals that accompany the talking.
Proverbs 16:28 28
KJV A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.
NIV A perverse man stirs up dissension, and a gossip separates close friends.

Soul Meets Body, Death Cab for Cutie
I had one of those moments this past weekend. It was the bi-annual General Conference, and I heard thoughts, impressions, and hope for the next six months. This conference was especially important because I received the opportunity to sustain Thomas S. Monson as a prophet, seer and revelator.
Of the conference I enjoyed several talks, but one thing that President Monson said still hits me (because it hasn't been printed I am unable to provide a direct quote). It was something like this; Pray for me and I will pray for you, and together we will make it through together.

Break the Ice, Britney Spears
This week I have listened to a Britney song everyday. Today, while listening, a friend commented on people's reaction that Blackout is her best album. I would have to agree and disagree. Almost all the songs are danceable, and singable for when you are in da club or driving around the city.
Since I am writing about breaking the ice, I thought I would include some "advice" I found on how to start a conversation with a celebrity. It made me laugh:
~First, remember that when you meet (insert celebrity name here), you must be cool and casual, although your mind may not be so calm. Just remember that celebrities are normal people with extraordinary gifts and talents (well, usually).
~Remember that when you are introduced to the celebrity, take 3 deep breaths so you do not faint or get a panic attack. Just take three breaths, and then state your name. The celebrity will most likely shake your hand and ask your name. Remember that they do this all the time and that even your worst reaction would be normal for them.
~Try not to get into a fight with another fan. Most chances are that others are just as excited and anxious to meet the star, so don't push or interrupt them.
~Watch out for the security/entourage.

Glowing and Showing
I decided today to make a post a week dedicated to what is going to be the concert of a lifetime... Forget the private soundcheck for Hilary Duff, Forget the craziness presented by Gwen Stefani, I am excited about the Glow in the Dark Tour featuring Kanye West, Rihanna, N.E.R.D. and Lupe Fiasco.
This weeks post is about the stage, which Kanye released on his blog. This looks like something out of a movie or Las Vegas show, Not a touring concert. Excitement fills my lungs.

Vacation, Kelly Clarkson (From Justin to Kelly Soundtrack)
I need a vacation badly. Today I entered this hoping I win. If not then I can just look forward to the summer when I can arrange something to happen. Most likely Vegas and a possible trip to Disneyland.
And for those of you going to Vegas in the next week, please enjoy it for me.... and get a good tan, go clubbing and dance your heart out with a Nelly Furtado spin.

River, Sea, Ocean, About A Boy Soundtrack
Since I was young I have always had a fascination with water. I find it fun to just stare at it and think. I also love swimming, but too bad I can't swim for too long thanks to a lousy knee. There is something about water that is incredible. It always changes and it goes where it can find space.
Winter water is lame
Air plus two Hydrogen
Terrific for Summer
Early sunrises reflection sparkles
Remaining motionless, with zero gravity
