California Gurls, Katy Perry feat. Snoop Dog

As I talked with a friend today, I realized, "Life keeps you on your toes for preparing what's coming up."

You may or may not know that my cousin and I took a random trip to great city of Los Angeles in hopes of being a part of the So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD) Finale. We had received tickets and the timing for everything was perfect. We woke up this morning and ventured on our way.

Well as we hit St. George I decided to check my email.  An email from a contest sponsor emailed me letting me know I was a semi-finalist in the Lady Gaga contest and to send some contact info their way. I did so, and within minutes I was told that I was the winner...

What does this entail?  A trip (hotel, airfare, and meet and greet) to see Gags in person on Friday in Vegas.  So our plans have taken quite a crazy spin:

Today we hit up Disneyland --World of Color is amazing and inspiring.  It's like the Bellagio fountains on turbo speed with Kool-Aid shooting out.

Tomorrow (Thurs) is SYTYCD finale day. Cross your fingers we get in!

Friday we hop on a plane from LAX to Vegas to see and meet Gaga.

Saturday: Plane returns us from to the Golden Coast, where we then drive back to Utah.

Real question is: What would you ask or say to Gaga? I would love any advice!

The Best Day, Taylor Swift

So these pictures are part two of the California series:

Me and my favorite California friend! We had good times in the park and on the beach!

So the final ride was Space Mtn... I chose to ride alone by myself since I wanted to listen to Ne-yo's "Closer" while watching the stars. Probably the best moment of the day...
Santa Monica Pier, which is way fun and really pretty!
Splash + Running to ride from small world before the park closes in 2 min = FUN WET TIMES
Pinocchio (in Italian accent)!
America's Next Top Model Photo Shoot
No trip is complete without a Lady Gaga Pose... PO- Oh-Oh- KERFACE
So these transients decided to take the horse carriage, and I chose not to because I think it is overly rude to the animal to make it walk up and down the street all day. I guess that is just the animal lover in me...
The ghosts at the haunted mansion can be somewhat intimidatin'.
Ride I recommend for any age, is Casey Jr's Train... It is pretty fast and a crowd pleaser!
PLEASE DO NOT TEXT AND DRIVE...

SO much fun and I want to go back really soon...

Amusement Park by 50 Cent

Disneyland Kicks all others to the curb hands down.
I love the smells, the feeling, the cleanliness, the high priced souvenoir, their hoodies, the Shows (HSM Schools out, Aladdin), the rides (Matterhorn, Tower of Terror, Buzz Lightyear, Splash Mtn, California Screamin etc), and the cast members (fun to push their buttons).

My goal is to get into club 33.

Its $7,500 a year with two free Premium passes (you can go into the park any day of the year)!
