The Great Escape, Boys Like Girls

Let's face it... Teen Dramas can be somewhat ridiculous, but this is insane and made me laugh!

Shut Up and Drive, Rihanna

So I just back from my Vay-Cay, and wanted to blog about my adventures involving sightings with Nick Hogan, Will Smith, and other celebrities, along with touching Jay Leno's hand, I also got the chance to dance on a balcony with a crowd below, Laugh way too much, get lost in LA and make the decision that I need to move there...

I interrupt with breaking news...........................................

Today when I got home I got in a car accident... My first one and thankfully I was not at fault (although the claim has yet to be decided). Long story short it involved someone who thought that they can cross four lanes of traffic to get to the other side, in a right turn only lane. Sadly though, the other driver is just a teen who has been in many collisions in the past couple months, and his guest in the car got in an accident in the same spot a week ago.... Go figure.

Thankfully no one was seriously injured (except for my headache and stiff neck), but Camron the Camry got a pretty big bruise... See for your self:

No word yet on what will happen but I will keep you updated... both on the car and my trip!

Call Me, Blondie

So today’s post is sponsored by a bugaboo:

I do not know why people feel they have to admit things that they feel make them smart on an issue, when really it makes them look dumb.

Case in point.:
In one of my classes after discussing current controversial topics, one peer raised her hand to comment on the recent passing of legislature. The law allows for police to pull over drivers who are texting.

“So yeah like last year, I got pulled over because I was driving with my knees and texting. I guess he had flashed his lights, but I didn’t see them, so he got in front of me and put on his brakes. Then the officer came up to my window and was like, “Do you know why I am pulling you over?” I had no idea, but apparently I wasn’t driving very well. So then I had to pay a $860 ticket for distracted driving. That’s why I don’t support the bill.”

Let’s just say that she gives the “dumb” Elle Woods a run for her money…. And it doesn’t help the cause that she aspires to be just like her journalist aunt, Angie Larsen. Blah-licious.

Think before you speak… especially to a group of people you do not know…

Broken, Joanna Pacitti

Sadly she didn't make it in idol... she would have won...
Today is Theodore Geisel's birthday, you might know him as Dr. Seuss. For some reason his material has always hit home to me. I am not sure if it is the nonsense thinking, or the captivating rhymes. Either way I have been a fan of his work, and in turn read his auto-biography. Interesting persona.

A book I need to re-checkout at the library is this:

I love the charm of Frog and Toad's personality. One is common sense, the other is fearless and carefree, but afraid of the what new things may come. I think my personality lies in the latter. I rather focus on the excitement of the day, rather than what the future may bring me.

On a weekend note:
Being an entertainer at a birthday party for a six year old and her 18 friends is obnoxiously fun. Perhaps the best moments was supervising the face painting, or yelling excitement for fun. I think kids like it when adults are just as excited as there are... either that or they think I am crazy as I am singing along to HSM, and cheering for them in pin the wildcat on Troy contests.
